The Family Resource Association purchased the Nucleus data information system in February 2009 and we have benefited from this choice in a variety of ways since that time. We are a non-profit multi-service agency that includes a fully staffed Child Development Centre as well as a range of mental health and social services. The Nucleus system allows us to provide integrated services through a secure internal communication system. We have achieved our goal of paperless client files because of the web based capacity of Nucleus and also the flexibility for uploading all documents including externally generated documents such as court orders and medical information. As a CARF accredited agency, we can meet a high percentage of CARF standards by using the Nucleus database. Nucleus has the capacity that serves our needs but one of the things we value most is the customer service. The Support Team is readily available through the internal communication system or by telephone. The response is quick and the solutions are creative. The development of the system to meet our individual agency needs is on-going and the Nucleus Team always responds from a “can do” perspective.
